Martin Mitev

A technology fanatic since age 10, Martin obtained a degree in Computer Science in 2005. He has worked in various IT roles and is a pilot for Latvian national carrier airBaltic. A combination of his academic background, ambition, and previous work experience, led him to also join various airline operations innovation projects as well: implementing RNP approaches on turboprops, creating an in-house pilot promotion system, and others. He continues to lead a dual life of an airline Captain and a Flight Operations Assistant while also blogging about the future of flight operations as a self-proclaimed domain futurist.
